Children’s Book Illustration

The goal of the project was to take an existing spread from a children’s book and reimagine it with a new interpretation. The proposed concept for the reimagined illustration was to depict the child’s imagination creating a story while in the bathtub. While the new illustration would be a departure from the original, it was important to preserve the core elements of the original illustration in order to maintain continuity within the book. The objective of the project was to effectively balance the preservation of the original illustration with the introduction of a fresh, creative approach to its representation.
